The TR-7 is bypasses hand & foot-brake sequence to allow Nav control or video playback while the car is in motion. And the SWI-X is the steering wheel control adapter. As you probably know, the IR-X is an IR Repeater (using Rich's bezel, the IR eye on the BT-740 is now attached to the back of the monitor).

I have the PAC IR-X, PAC SWI-X, and PAC TR-7 which I plan to install this weekend. I'm glad that I can share this information here hope it makes your install easier. I ran into the same problem with the local shops -they just don't have much experience with the Hub Pro and these components. It took me multiple phone calls with Alpine Tech Support to realize that I needed the KCA-410c. With the Alpine KCA-410C, an incoming phone call will interrupt / auto-mute the source (e.g., XM, CD, other) in use and the phone call is heard through the stereo system. Then the phone call could be heard through the stereo system, but only when I switched the Control Hub to the Aux source - still not ideal. The BT-740 bluetooth worked just fine however, the phone call was heard only through the monitor's speaker, not through the stereo system.Īs a temporary solution, I hooked up the BT-740 audio output to the Aux-In on the Control Hub. I may try a local carpet or automotive upholstery shop to see if they can help.

As if harnessing power into the original Stealth amps wasn’t enough, Stealth Shot 500w amps take the mini amp game to the next level. My efforts have been focused on wrapping up a few loose ends (including nav voice interrput, blue tooth phone interrupt, XM radio input, monitor mounting, tweaking / tuning the PXA-H701 processor / eq, etc.). One caveat - the system shown here was professionally installed.

Thanks to those that have commented on the install. I'm just waiting for receipt of the bezel from another board member (hopefully this week). And the last photo shows the Alpine TME-740BT temporarily sitting in the dash cavity. Second photo shows the passenger side kick panel. Here's a picture of the driver's side with my foot on the clutch - clearance is reasonable since its only a 4" speaker is mounted there. The front-end is a 3-way with the 4" mid in the kick panel, 6" midbass in the door, and tweeter in the A-pillar. This is a new install that replaces the stock HK system. Click to expand. No, I did not previously have the Focal's door-mounted.
